hello my name is Jeffery Carter and I'm a 7th grader and home 1204 recently I attended a virtual field trip to the Muhammad Ali Center while I was there I learned a lot about Muhammad Ali and his story as well as black history and how unfair black people are treated one of the most appalling thing that I learned while I was there is that according to the center of Disease Control in 2017 out of 1,000 live births 11 infants born to black mothers died before their first birthday compared to five deaths of infants born to white mothers also black women are more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications compared to a white woman one thing that I like Missy SNL is that I enjoyed the fellowship and that I appreciate the opportunity because I want to learn new information it inspires me to expand my knowledge of black and African American history now just because black history month but also because I think these actions are vital part of American history and it helped form what America has become today
